I called my prescription from my dr in to the pharmacy at 1130 after having a dr appointment for my son. He requires puffers for breathing. The attendant said fax was received and I requested to have it filled. I was told it would take 1-1.5 hours. After this I went to life labs, got blood work, went to x-ray, got x-ray done and went to Walmart. Checked in to Walmart at 1230. I was told it would take 1-1.5 hours more to fill puffer prescription. I went shopping and returned at 130. I was told yet again they “Just moved my prescription to the top because I was in store” I asked what made this take so long, as it has already been 2 hours since initial phone call to get prescription filled. Response was “short staffing” and I “should have called ahead before coming to the store.” I informed them I did, immediately after my appointment. They had nothing to say but “it’s moved to the top of the pile. Because you are here, it will be another hour, and it goes by priority” I left the store. This happens regularly and I will now never return back for pharmacy needs. Ridiculous time to put a sticker on a prescription already finished and sent in hours ago by Dr.
