SHOPPERS DRUG MART #2288

My Dr faxed in a perscription from his office over an hour away. I called the pharmacy to bring their attrntion to the fax and ask they have it ready inan hour. I was told the wait was 2 hours. They found the fax and i explained i had a ride to the pharmacy in an hour and it would cost me $40.00 for a taxi to come later. The response was "We have the fax and there is a two hour wait." I then asked how to have my perscription request sent to another store. I was told, get you Dr to fax them the prescrption and the phone call ended. Which i found later was not the process needed. I only had to call the other pharmacy and they would take care of all the transfer details. I had been at that pharmacy for over a decade, and with that last excuse for customer service i will no longer set foot in that store.
